These images have employed the two techniques (blend and expand) to really emphasise this enthralling gulf of visual information that fills contemporary Japan, especially Tokyo. Here we become completely entangled inside this mazes of blended images that evoke a strong sense of distortion. There is not only distortion in shape but also a distortion of colour where neon tones seem to be being to bleed out of the page. Despite this labyrinth of images that we are confronted by I feel that it has taken the process to a little bit of an extreme. I feel that there was more subtly coming through with the other selection of images. When ever engaging with quite destructive digital processes I feel that more often than not it pays to be slightly more subtle.
