Similar to my first blended video experiment this time I use three different video clips to create this slightly more refined piece. This time the content of each clip pulls the viewers eye in a different direction. My aim was to fully confuse the eye and leave the view trapped between the start and end points of these three consisted journeys. Again I split the videos into frames and let the photoshop create its own blends and mixes. To be honest I feel that the moving images don’t work as well as the still images that use the same process. With the moving image its feel like we just see and overlay of image instead of theses refined cuts and blends between imagery. There is also a problem with the fact that it takes such a long time to create what is quite a short piece of footage. I am enjoying working with moving image again but I feel that exploring the ‘expand’ processes that I was developing at the beginning of this project might create some more captivating video.
